# Have your say on anti-social behaviour in Brighton & Hove’s public spaces

If you’ve been affected by anti-social behaviour (ASB) in public spaces in the area you live or work in, **Brighton & Hove City Council**’s **Community Safety Team** is keen to hear your views.

A consultation is being held to get residents and businesses to share their views on the impact of ASB in public spaces and the response to any problems they have reported.

The aim of the survey is to evaluate the effectiveness of the community safety partnership’s response to ASB in public spaces – for example, groups of people harassing others, or people taking drugs in public spaces.

The city’s community safety partnership links a range of organisations working together to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in Brighton & Hove, including the council and **Sussex Police**.

The survey is open until **24 September** and all responses are anonymous.

Councillor **Leslie Pumm**, chair of the **Equalities, Community Safety and Human Rights Committee**, said: “We hope as many people as possible who have been affected by ASB in public places in the city will take part in the survey.

“Input from residents and businesses will help us to gain greater insight into the impact of ASB in public spaces.

“And by understanding the experiences and perspectives of those directly affected, we can ensure that resources are targeted where they are most needed.”
