# "An unbelievable milestone." Hastings Pride to celebrate 10 years of championing LGBTQ+ lives

**Hastings Pride** is gearing up for its biggest celebration yet on **Sunday, 30 August**, marking a decade of unity with a powerhouse lineup of live entertainment and a fierce commitment to keeping the event completely free for all.

This year’s milestone event on the main stage features a stacked lineup, including '90s R&B hitmakers **Honeyz**, local festival favourites **The Fabulous Red Diesel**, crowd-pleasers **Doctor Woof** and **Mama Tasty**, a high-octane tribute from **Step into Elton**, and a headline appearance from legendary drag star **Drag With No Name.**

The day kicks off with the iconic Hastings Pride Parade, a vibrant wave of colour moving through the town centre before arriving at the main festival grounds. Crucially, Hastings Pride has remained 100% free to attend since day one.

By keeping tickets free, the festival breaks down financial barriers and brings people from all walks of life together. It creates a space where diverse communities connect, common ground is found, and the walls of ignorance that fuel prejudice are torn down through celebration and shared joy.

"Reaching our 10th anniversary is an unbelievable milestone for us," said **Natasha Scott,** Director of Hastings Pride CIC. "From day one, keeping Hastings Pride completely free has been non-negotiable. When you remove ticket prices, you open the doors to the entire town. 

"It brings people together who might never otherwise meet, shatters old stereotypes, and creates a space where everyone feels safe, proud, and celebrated. This lineup is incredible, and we can’t wait to throw the biggest party Hastings has ever seen."

With strong support from local partners, Hastings Pride continues to provide a safe and inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ residents, families, and allies.
