# Gay pornstar Reform UK councillor into "bears" and "stocky blokes" quits

A newly-elected **Reform UK** councillor, who previously starred in gay adult content under the name “**Lachlan Taylor UK**”, has quit after being elected to represent Haydock in St Helens. 

**Stephen Mousdell** was identified in dozens of explicit online videos and on subscription platform OnlyFans, where he reportedly described himself as a “gay pornstar and DJ”.

His social media and creator profiles openly referenced interests in “workies”, “truckers”, “bears” and “stocky blokes”. His online branding also leaned heavily into hyper-masculine aesthetics, including military, biker and tradie imagery.

One social media user wrote: “The porn career isn’t the issue for me — supporting Reform is.”

Reform UK defended Mousdell following the reports, stating that his “private lifestyle choices” were known before the election and that voters still chose to elect him. A party spokesperson added that “what consenting adults do in their private lives is their own business”. Mousdell subsequently stepped down from the position. 

The controversy arrives during a turbulent period for Reform UK, with several newly elected representatives facing allegations linked to offensive or extremist social media activity.

Councillor Stuart Prior resigned shortly after his election following allegations involving racist online posts. Meanwhile, Sheffield councillor Nathaniel Menday was suspended after historical posts surfaced in which he allegedly praised Nazi “visionaries” and shared extremist imagery. Menday has denied being antisemitic and said he no longer supports far-right ideology.
