# Gay Classic Car Group: 1,000 LGBTQ+ members as diverse as their cars

The **Gay Classic Car Group** (GCCG) – the group for LGBTQ+ classic car enthusiasts – enjoyed a bumper year of events last year. Towards the end of 2024, they had a choice of laid-up lunches in 10 local areas including Yorkshire, south east, south west and Essex. The 2024 events calendar kicks off in March with a big stand at the **Resto** show at the **NEC** in Birmingham with a great variety of cars and the AGM at Gaydon.

Later in the year, GCCG has the usual crop of overseas trips – **Eurotour** in Switzerland, Rouen in France at Easter, and two separate French trips in October. Along with the usual car runs and day trips to places of interest, GCCG is lucky to have a couple of special one-off weekend events in Ireland and Wales in September.

**GCCG’s 1,000 LGBTQ+ members are as diverse as their cars. The GCCG hosts regular national and international meetings. Members receive a quarterly magazine and monthly email bulletins.
