# "Done with the dolls, for the dolls". FINESSE campaign offers defiant lens into the trans experience

LGBTQ-founded US fashion brand [FINESSE](https://www.instagram.com/finesseusstudios/?hl=en&ref=scenemag.co.uk) has just launched the first chapter of its new campaign, [***READ ALL ABOUT IT***](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLAxxRHSPid/?igsh=aHh0NTh4Y3V2YnVy&ref=scenemag.co.uk), a four-part satirical series created entirely by an all-queer creative team. 

The campaign delivers an unapologetic, striking response to the wave of anti-trans legislation introduced over the past year - from bathroom bills to passport restrictions, offering an authentic, defiant lens into the trans experience.

****Zaya Perysian**

The series stars and is co-directed by some of Gen Z’s most influential trans creators, kicking off with **Zaya Perysian** ([@zayaperysian](https://www.tiktok.com/@zayaperysian?ref=scenemag.co.uk)), who played a pivotal role in a recent landmark legal ruling. 

Zaya is a prominent American social media influencer and trans advocate known for her vibrant presence on TikTok, where she has amassed over 4.7 million followers 

In 2025, Zaya became one of the plaintiffs in the landmark case *Orr v. Trump*, challenging a US State Department policy that restricted trans and nonbinary individuals from obtaining passports that reflect their gender identity.

The court issued a preliminary injunction in favour of the plaintiffs, marking a significant victory for trans rights. Zaya used her platform to explain the case and its implications, emphasising the importance of accurate identification for safety and dignity.
