# Chris & Rupert's Big Birthday Bash to raise funds for Sussex Beacon tomorrow!

Brighton’s LGBTQ+ community is gearing up for one of its most anticipated annual events in the Gay Village as **Chris Marshall**, landlord of **Charles Street Tap**, and the **Queen's Arms**' **Rupert**, host a joint **BIG BIRTHDAY BASH** tomorrow, **Sunday, 7 September**, across two venues: **Charles Street Tap** and **Queen's Arms**. 

For the very first time, the fundraising event, which will this year raise funds for **Sussex Beacon**, will be held over these two venues from **7pm** with 12 fabulous drag acts and hosts **Lola Lasagne** and **Sally Vate**.

Organisers say: "Chris & Rupert’s BIG Birthday Bash is BACK — and this year, we’re sprinting heels-first between the Queens Arms & Charles Street Tap like the fabulous cabaret athletes we are. 

"Sequins flying, wigs slipping, and the gay scene UNITED exactly how it should be - loud, proud, and working together to raise funds for the Sussex Beacon."

Guests are encouraged to bring their generosity along with their party spirit.
