**Centre Stage Brighton** – a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community and their friends – is to close its doors for good on **Sunday, April 27**.

Announcing the news on social media, Centre Stage Brighton said: “Yes it’s true, the **Amsterdam Hotel** has sold up. As such Centre Stage is coming to a close, two years earlier than planned but, ya know, all the greats go out with a bang, don’t they?”

And go out with a bang they will! Centre Stage Brighton will be having its closing weekend from **25 April-27 April** with ***Our Big Leaving Bash*** on **Sunday, April 27** from **5pm** with **Donna Marie** as Lady Gaga, **Melissa Totten** as Madonna, drag star **Rose Garden** and **DJ** **Dolly** on the decks.

Centre Stage Brighton added: “We love all of you, all of our gorgeous staff past and present, our acts, god we have had some epic acts on and all of our party monsters (YOU!).

“Between now and then all remains the same, pop in, get ratted and pass out on a park bench.
