The **Rainbow Chorus** has announced it has found a new accompanist for its choirs to replace **Mojca Monte Amali** who stepped down after 12 years and received a heartfelt send-off at the chorus’ recent ***Winter Concert***.

The new accompanist is **Olly Parr**, who is an accomplished pianist, singer, organist, and flautist. They are the accompanist for the **Worthing Choral Society**, and the **BREMF Community Choir** where they also serve as deputy conductor. Experienced both as a choral singer and soloist, they have performed in venues such as **Westminster Abbey**, **St Martin-in-the-Fields**, and **Arundel Castle**. In addition to their love for all things choir, Olly teaches piano and singing privately. They are super excited to be working in an LGBTQ+ setting!

The Rainbow Chorus said: “Olly forms a crucial part of the music team alongside our marvellous Music Director, **Aneesa Chaudhry**. We can’t wait for them to become an integral part of our Rainbow Family!

“The Rainbow Chorus is the largest non-audition non-audition community LGBTQ+ choir in the south-east outside of London. Based in Brighton & Hove we have been celebrating diversity through music since 1997 and we welcome people from all sections of our community.

“We offer an enjoyable, supportive and affirming environment for LGBTQ+ members to sing, develop their community spirit and awareness, and enable individuals to develop their talents, skills and confidence. Through public performance, we enhance the profile of LGBTQ+ people, particularly in Brighton & Hove, and contribute to the quality and range of community events.

“We believe that singing at events such as **IDAHOBIT**, **World AIDS Day** and **Trans Pride Brighton & Hove** sends a clear message that we are out and proud and all different.”
