In part two of my preview of **Brighton Fringe**, I give you tips for more queer and quirky shows that might amuse, shock and educate.

Dates and times vary, so in no particular order, here they are:

**C’est Magnifique** is a love letter to cabaret and musical theatre. Be swept along as our characters whisk you off for moments of unexpected pleasure.

**Magic Dyke** features an unforgettable sizzling drag king. It’s hot; it’s hilarious. It’s Magic Mike for dykes.

The annual visit by those cross dressing lipsync stars **The Lady Boys of Bangkok** is back for another musical romp through your favourite tunes and frocks.

**Second Class Queer** is an intimate, thought-provoking performance that’s as bold as it is heartfelt.

***Mannequim – The Ploem*** – a woman and a trans woman navigate the physicality of gender, as framed by society – surely it couldn’t be more topical or important.

**Monsters,** ***A Queer Myth.*** Through mythological characters and a personal twist, David tells four tales as they should be heard: QueerAF.

**Tethered** is a comedic two-hander, exploring polyamory, loss and queer motherhood.

**Boyz Nite** is an evening celebrating trans men, trans masc and butch non-binary performers with comedy, drag and poetry – possibly my favourite pick in anticipation.

All Aboard

My favourite from the Fringe launch party, **All Aboard! An Evening with Pearl and Dean** takes us to the world’s campest cruise ship to laugh, sing and swing the night away with the most heterosexual couple in showbiz.

**Queer As F\*ck Cabaret** is outrageously good circus, drag and burlesque. It promises to be gritty, camp and celebratory.

**Full ticket and venue information [HERE](http://brightonfringe.org/?ref=scenemag.co.uk)**

Look out for comprehensive reviews of these and other delights only at *Scene* magazine – it’s going to be a hectic gay May.

Finally, during Fringe but not part of it, **Resound Voices** present their latest concert **Nerds** on **9 & 10 May** at Brighton’s **Chapel Royal**. It’s a celebration of all things nerdy in song – expect tunes from **Realm Of Zelda**, **Halo**, **Coward**, **Flanders** and **Swann**, **Sondheim**, *Game Of Thrones* – you get the idea. **Tickets** [**HERE**](http://resoundvoices.org/?ref=scenemag.co.uk)
