# Bob The Drag Queen to make Broadway debut in Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Beloved drag performer and cultural icon **Bob The Drag Queen** is set to make her long-awaited **Broadway** debut in the **Tony Award**\-winning musical ***Moulin Rouge!*** at New York’s **Al Hirschfeld Theatre**. Bob will take on the flamboyant role of Harold Zidler for an eight-week limited engagement running from **27 January - 22 March 2026**.

Best known for winning season 8 of *RuPaul’s Drag Race*, Bob has since built a multifaceted career as a comedian, actor, activist, and author. Her credits include co-hosting HBO’s *We’re Here*, touring globally with Madonna’s *Celebration Tour*, and releasing the New York Times best-selling novel *Harriet Tubman: Live In Concert*.

Speaking about the milestone, Bob shared: “Being on Broadway has always been a dream of mine. I moved to NYC almost 17 years ago to pursue it. Some roads take a while.”

Bob will follow in the footsteps of **Wayne Brady**, who currently plays Zidler until 9 November, and **Robert Petkoff**, who will take over from 11 November to 25 January 2026.

*Moulin Rouge! The Musical*, based on **Baz Luhrmann**’s 2001 film, is directed by **Alex Timbers** with a book by **John Logan** and choreography by **Sonya Tayeh**. The show has captivated audiences worldwide and won ten Tony Awards in 2021, including Best Musical.
