Rev Oliver White

**In 2012, Reverend Oliver White** lost two thirds of his congregation, his home and his Church, when he voiced his support for same-sex marriage.

Last November, the Reverend found his new church in St Paul, Minnesota and has launched an LGBT Program, *Churches for Safe Spaces* which he hopes to expand to churches across the country who are on the verge of opening their doors to everyone.

**Initial Programs Includes:**

• Bringing together a network of churches that will adopt the *Safe Spaces* program, similar to the *Safe Spaces Campaign* in schools

• Connect with LGBT programs across the nation to create an LGBT resource hub for churches throughout the country

• Appoint LGBT Program Directors

• Offer marriage equality messaging and acceptance teachings to other churches

• Deliver outreach campaigns to churches including: youth employment, community involvement and poverty
