For every chart-topping legend who reinvents themselves year after year, there’s a one-hit wonder who made magic once and that was enough. The '90s and '00s gave us icons like **Britney**'sand **Beyoncé**'s and **Kylie**'s and **Mariah**'s and **Madonna**'s, sure, but also unforgettable flashes of brilliance from artists like **Madison Avenue** and **Shanks & Big Foot** and **Sam Sparro**. Their lone hits still have me in a chokehold in 2025 and deserve to be remembered and cherished foreverrrrr. <3

Here are my ultimate fave one hit wonders from the '90s and 2000s-think neo-power ballads, gritty nu metal, slinky dancehall, crunk chaos and those blink-and-you-missed-it chart toppers that somehow became cult classics. Let's dive in head first and enjoy!
